American rapper, Quantavious Tavario Thomas, known professionally as Young Nudy, unleased new song “Impala” off his long-awaited mixtape EA Monster leaked online.
After teasing for weeks that his next project would be out on “8/8/22,” the East Atlanta native took to Instagram on Wednesday to give fans the full tracklist for his upcoming mixtape. Nudy showed his 930 K followers the dark, slimy cover art and confirmed that the album would come out on August 8. He wrote in the post’s caption, “#EAmonster #Mixtape You Ready?”
EA Monster will be the first project from the ATL rapper after Rich Shooter comes out in 2021. Before that, Nudy put out the album Dr. Ev4l, which had cameos from his cousin 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and G Herbo. This time, Nudy kept the number of guests on his album to a minimum. Baby Drill is the only artist who will appear on his upcoming mixtape. On track 10, “Dunstane,” Drill is featured with Nudy.
Even though EA Monster doesn’t have as many features as Nudy’s other projects, fans are looking forward to the production from his longtime partners Coupe and Pi’erre Bourne, aka Pierre.
Young Nudy’s career began to take off in late 2015, after his appearance on 21 Savage’s “Air It Out.” Following that, he formed a tight relationship with producer Pi’erre Bourne, and on October 2, 2016, Nudy released his Slimeball mixtape, which featured mostly Pi’erre production.
Young Nudy’s career took off in the years that followed, with his SlimebBall 3 album being his first to chart on the Billboard 200, arriving at #146. The highly anticipated “Pissy Pamper” featuring Playboi Carti, Nudy’s biggest single of his career, leaked suddenly in early 2019.
