According to prosecutors, YNW Melly “approved” a hit on his mother.
As YNW Melly maintains his innocence in the murders of YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy, authorities are laying fresh charges against him. According to court records acquired by No Jumper, prosecutors believe Melly ordered a hit on his own mother, according to the transcripts. Prosecutors also believe Melly approved additional crimes over the phone, including narcotics trafficking.
Qu: Has, in your opinion, Melly authorized any communication for the commission of a crime? A: Yes. If you read his phone, there’s narcotics trafficking, firearms violations, authorizing the killing of his mother. Those are things that you would consider “authorizing.”
The claims immediately spread on the Internet, and both the artist and his mother seemed to respond to them. Neither expressly mentioned the court transcripts, but the postings on their individual Instagram Stories appeared shortly after the accusations became viral. “This is sheer desperation,” Melly’s mother replied, along with a laughing and cap emoji. Later, Melly’s team published a statement on his behalf, stating, “Lies. Fake Agenda Innocent.”
It was disclosed earlier this month that a key investigator in the case would testify as an expert witness that Melly was “more likely” the shooter in Juvy and Sakchaser’s case. We’ll keep you updated on any further developments in the case.
