American Southern rock/country group from Palestine, Texas composed of Cody Cannon, John Jeffers, Cody Tate, Jeff Hogg, Tony Kent, and Jamey Gleaves, Whiskey Myers unreleased new song “Heart of Stone” off forthcoming album “Tornillo” leaked online.
Whiskey Myers put out a brand-new song called “John Wayne” on all digital streaming services to commemorate the occasion. The song begins with a groovy guitar riff before an organ and a full-throated harmonica take it to the first stanza.
This song is perfect for their stage act or a battle scene on Yellowstone, where so much of their music has already been used, because of the tempo and outlaw theme.
Vocalist Cody Cannon contributed to 9 of the songs on the album Tornillo, which was released on July 29. Guitarist John Jeffers is credited with writing “Heavy on Me,” “Whole World Gone Crazy,” and an instrumental called “Tornillo.”
You may get the whole tracklist here. As part of their busy summer tour, Whiskey Myers will perform as the opening act at the Firewater Music Festival from September 29 to October 1. They have published five albums, the most recent of which was Whiskey Myers in September 2019.
