The black-and-white video is a montage of quick clips showing the three artists performing their song. Fivio Foreign wears a black puffer jacket, while Ye sports moon boots and his distinct DONDA era face mask.
“City of Gods” is Fivio Foreign and Ye’s second single collaboration, following the DONDA cut “Off the Grid.” This new song comes off of Fivio Foreign’s debut album B.I.B.L.E., which will be produced by Ye.
The Kanye West and Alicia Keys-assisted track gets a simple and minimalist video treatment which is dedicated to lost friend and collaborator Tahjay “T Dott” Dobson. Watch the black & white clip below.
The video closes with a tribute to the late rapper T Dott, whose legal name is Tahjay Dobson. Earlier this month, Dobson was fatally shot in front of his home in Brooklyn. An affiliate of Pop Smoke and Fivio Foreign, the 22-year-old artist had signed a record deal with Million Dollar Music just a day prior.
West is currently readying his own new album, Donda 2, which he says will be released on February 22 exclusively via his Stem Player. Also on February 22, West will host the “Donda Experience Performance” in Miami.
