Australian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, known professionally as the Kid Laroi unreleased album project titled “Kids Are Growing Up” reportedly leaked online.
LAROI has teased his impending debut album, KIDS ARE GROWING UP, in a series of postings over the previous two weeks. On April 11, he tweeted that the release date for his long-awaited album had been “locked in.” KAGU is anticipated to be LAROI’s first proper album after his F*CK LOVE mixtape trilogy drops in 2021, despite the fact that he hasn’t revealed anything about it.
Despite his claims in various interviews that the next project would be out in 2022, LAROI teases it in the song “I DON’T KNOW,” which is included on his F*CK LOVE 3+: “I assure you, album 2022, it ain’t over yet.”
The first song from the project, “Thousand Miles,” was released in April. The musician discusses his recent relationships and the issues he’s experienced with them. Following that, the song debuted and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 list for the week of May 7, 2022.
Following a brief hiatus at the end of last year, LAROI returned to social media in January to announce that he was working on an album titled THE FIRST TIME, or “TFT” according to his hashtags. On March 3, he announced that he had changed the name of TFT to KIDS ARE GROWING UP. He said that this was due to the album’s focus on LAROI’s development as a celebrity singer-rapper.
LAROI updated followers on the then-TFT through Instagram after being spotted with Don Toliver in the studio and releasing a few photographs and excerpts, claiming that he’s been “working day and night for you all” and thanked Donny for the feature.
LAROI returned to social media shortly after his session with Don, teasing additional collaborations and his impending debut. Nardo Wick, Hit-Boy, Fivio Foreign, and others were seen in the studio with the young star. He continues to hang out with the game’s greatest and brightest creators. He startled listeners by previewing an unreleased song called “Guess It’s Love” before sharing “what just transpired.” On January 13, he had previously hinted at it.
LAROI is also preparing for his forthcoming global tour, which will take place later this year. He previously said that he was delaying the sold-out legs of his European and US tours, but his three-month tour will begin on May 26 in his hometown of Sydney. He has assured his followers that the performance in his hometown would go on as planned. On June 18, he begins the European leg of his “End of the World Tour.” Laroi will return to the United States on August 2 in Minneapolis, where he will perform through September 11.
The 18-year-old Australian prodigy has risen to prominence in a manner that no other has. LAROI became a well-known name in the industry practically overnight after having significant singles with “DIVA,” “WITHOUT YOU,” and “Stay” in 2020 and ’21. Before taking a vacation, LAROI assured his fans that he was recording “the finest music” of his life, which heightened anticipation for the project’s release.
LAROI has emerged as one of the most popular music sensations since Justin Bieber. He began by signing with Grade A’s G Money and Lil Bibby, which led to friendship and collaboration with Juice WRLD. LAROI’s most recent mixtape, F*CK LOVE 3, premiered at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and is handled by Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun. It was the last installment of a trilogy that helped him get a lot of attention.
LAROI stated why he was going to quit creating music for a spell in a letter he penned last November. “This is what I need to do to offer you all the finest music possible,” he said. Because of his sabbatical, LAROI’s upcoming chapter seems to be much more exciting than his last one.
