More About Swedish House Mafia
Swedish House Mafia is a supergroup created in 2008 by three prominent Swedish DJs: Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello. They originally dissolved in March 2013 after five years and two mix albums. Following significant speculations and several teases in the Miami region, the trio returned five years later as a “surprise” guest closing off the 20th Ultra Music Festival as a “surprise” guest.
On October 22, 2018, the three formally confirmed their reunion during a press conference in Stockholm, seven months later. In the days leading up to the announcement, there was a countdown. The Save the World Reunion Tour followed in 2019, but the group did not release new music until July 15, 2021, when they released “It Gets Better,” their first since “Don’t You Worry Child” over nine years previously.
