Japanese–British singer-songwriter and model, Rina Sawayama unreleased nw song “Minor Feelings” off forthcoming second studio album “Hold The Girl” leaked online.
Rina Sawayama’s second album has been released. Her first album, “Sawayama,” was well received by reviewers and was released in 2020. Dirty Hit will release “Hold the Girl” on September 2.
Along with the announcement of her new album, Rina released the album’s first single, “This Hell,” an energetic country-pop tune.
Shania Twain is complimented at the start of “This Hell.” “Let’s go, ladies,” Rina whispers quietly, and the first stanza begins. Rina delivers humorous words about homosexual pop singers between glam-rock riffs, such as “Fuck what they did to Britney, Lady Di, and Whitney.”
The song was written by Rina, Vixen, Paul Epworth, and Lauren Aquilina. Clarence Clarity, who worked on “Sawayama,” and Paul Epworth, who has worked with Adele and Rihanna, collaborated to create it (Demi Lovato, Little Mix).
Clarity, Aquilina, Epworth, Stuart Price (Dua Lipa, the Killers, Madonna), and Marcus Andersson, who have all previously collaborated with the band, helped create and record “Hold the Girl” over the past year and a half (Demi Lovato, Ashnikko). People think “Hold the Girl” is a departure from her previous work, combining inspirations from all around the music world to deliver a powerful and honest message.
She was born in the Japanese city of Niigata. She relocated to London with her parents when she was five years old. Rina, her first EP released by herself, was released in 2017. After signing with Dirty Hit in 2020, her debut studio album, Sawayama, was warmly welcomed by reviewers.
