Unlimited Love“, reportedly leaked online.merican rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, unreleased song “White Braids & Pillow Chair” off there upcoming album project, “
RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS’s first new album with guitarist John Frusciante since 2006’s “Stadium Arcadium” was once again produced by Rick Rubin who previously worked on “Blood Sugar Sex Magik” (1991), “Californication” (1999), “By The Way” (2002) and the aforementioned “Stadium Arcadium”.
Last Friday (Jan 28), the band’s Twitter page published a teaser video, showing an animation of the Red Hot Chili Peppers logo as Frusciante strikes up some meditative tunes on his guitar. We’ve known for some time now that a new Red Hot Chili Peppers album is done and that it is most probably going to be released this year, but that’s about it. Apart from the two teasers, no concrete info has been given so far concerning the album’s name, exact release date, or details of any upcoming singles.
The band stated about the new record: “Our only goal is to get lost in the music. We (John, Anthony, Chad and Flea) spent thousands of hours, collectively and individually, honing our craft and showing up for one another, to make the best album we could. Our antennae attuned to the divine cosmos, we were just so damn grateful for the opportunity to be in a room together, and, once again, try to get better. Days, weeks and months spent listening to each other, composing, jamming freely, and arranging the fruit of those jams with great care and purpose. The sounds, rhythms, vibrations, words and melodies had us enrapt.
Many users in the comments of Keevie’s post were skeptical of the post’s credibility, as it was posted on the subreddit with no source and Keevie was nowhere to be found when it came to defending their claim of a new single. On the other side, many users found the speculation to be exciting such.
“You guys, this is a really fun time to be in this sub. I know people get frustrated about the endless speculation, but honestly the buildup to an album is probably the most fun time to be a fan — especially when it’s John’s first album with the band in 16 years. When the album comes out, some people are gonna love it and others will be disappointed. It will be fun too — but right now it’s pure anticipation. Soak it in” Another Reddit user, PauloDapper, expressed a great deal of confidence in the release of the rumoured track as they claimed to have an inside source. “According to a source related to JF Effects, the staff at Warner Bros. Brazil has already listened to the song and confirmed its release this week.
A bit of digging on Reddit did indeed confirm that a user with such a name exists, and has been extensively sharing rumors on upcoming music releases in the past. So far, their track record appears to be on the nose. Some of their predictions that turned out correct include The Maine single “Loved You A Little” coming out on Jan 27, Papa Roach’s single “Stand Up” arriving on Jan 27, Smash Into Pieces single “Deadman” being released on Jan 28, and many more. Of course, it’s worth noting that rumors are always best served with salt to taste, but we won’t need to wait much longer to find out if they were true!
Their music incorporates elements of alternative rock, funk, punk rock and psychedelic rock. The band consists of vocalist Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist John Frusciante.
They made it mainstream off the success of their 1991’s fifth studio album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, led by singles “Give it Away” and “Under the Bridge.” After losing guitarist John Frusciante and losing popularity following the release of the less successful One Hot Minute, the band reunited for 1999’s Californication. The title track and hit singles “Around the World,” “Scar Tissue” and “Otherside” propelled them back to the fame. After 2002’s solid release By the Way and 2006’s double-disc Stadium Arcadium, Frusciante once again left the band to further pursue his solo career. The band added Josh Klinghoffer to help fill his void, and released I’m With You in 2011.
