Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Toronto, Navraj Singh Goraya, known professionally as NAV unreleased new song “Destiny” from Demons Protected By Angels album leaked online.
The Toronto rapper, has taken a brief hiatus from the music scene, but it seems that he is about to return. On Monday (June 27), the rapper-producer announced through Twitter that he would release a new album titled Demons Protected By Angels.
NAV’s fourth studio album will be the follow-up to Good Intentions, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in May 2020. The XO artist has something special planned for social media in the days preceding up to the July 29 release of Demons Protected By Angels, according to the press release.
NAV’s most recent release was the mixtape Emergency Tsunami, which was entirely produced by renowned beatsmith Wheezy. There isn’t much information regarding the next album, but NAV is hoping it will be as successful as his last two solo studio efforts.
NAV, in addition to achieving No. 1 with Good Intentions, had done so the previous year. The 32-year-old released Bad Habits in 2019, which debuted at No. 1, giving him his first chart-topper of his career.
NAV headed to Instagram to have some fun with Drake while working on his next album. Last year, the two fought on the popular social networking app, making fun of one other.
On his Instagram Story, the 6 God captioned a photo of NAV, “I look fantastic AF right now… good morning world.” In reaction to the lookalike joke, the Good Intentions rapper shared a re-imagined image of Drake’s Take Care album cover, this time with his head on Drake’s body.
NAV began his career as a producer, and co-produced Drake’s single “Back to Back” in 2015. He then gained mainstream attention in 2016 when his song “Myself” went viral.
