Megan Thee Stallion had a successful year, with hits like “Plan B,” “Sweetest Pie,” and a Billboard Music Award for top female rap artist.
Trauamzine, a “savage” rapper, will release his new album on Friday (Aug. 12). Megam’s full-length follow-up to Good News, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and gave us hits like “Body” and “Movie,” is Traumazine (with Lil Durk). Megan released a record called Something for the Hotties, which included the song “Thot Shit.”
H-Town Hottie also displayed the album’s artwork and song list. Traumazine features songs by Future, Dua Lipa, Latto, Jhené Aiko, Lucky Daye, Key Glock, Pooh Shiesty, Rico Nasty, Sauce Walka, Big Pokey, and Lil Keke. Songs such as “Sweetest Pie” (15), “Plan B” (29), and “Pressurelicious” (55).
Megan had been teasing her new album on Instagram and Twitter for weeks, so many people were taken aback when she finally revealed it. Megan tweeted late Wednesday night, “I always have trouble releasing music under this label. All of these games and having to go to court just to display my artwork has been extremely stressful.”
Megan has stated that Traumazine will be available for streaming at midnight following a “chaotic” release.
In 2019, Megan Thee Stallion put out Good News. She has put out “Plan B” and “Pressurelicious” with Future, which are both from her second album. More will be coming about her new album.
