American rapper, singer-songwriter, and actor, Colson Baker, known professionally as Machine Gun Kelly unrelalesed new song “papercuts (album edit)” off there upcoming album Mainstream Sellout.

In December 2021, one day before his last show of the Tickets To My Downfall tour (XXmas2021), Colson played this song for the fans at his coffee shop (27 Club Coffee), it´s likely going to be on Mainstream Sellout album coming March 25, 2022.

Despite both himself and his collaborator, Travis Barker, getting tattoos of the title Born With Horns, Kelly announced on Monday that he is changing the title of his new album in another TikTok, this time with Barker. “Remember when, um… remember when we got the album name, the new album name, tattooed on our arms?” Kelly asks Barker in the video.

“You’re changing it,” Barker said. “OK, what’s the new album name?” The clip then cuts to the name, Mainstream Sellout. As for what fans can expect from the rest of the upcoming album, Kelly recently revealed that Mainstream Sellout will be much “deeper” than his previous work.

“It feels more guitar-heavy for sure, lyrically it definitely goes deeper – but I never like to do anything the same,” Kelly told Billboard in October. “Every album is a juxtaposition of the last album. So I went and studied ‘Tickets [To My Downfall]’, and I heard the bright sound that I had, and for this album I just turned the lights off.”

More About Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. He released his debut studio album, Lace Up, in 2012, which peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200 and contained his breakout single “Wild Boy” (featuring Waka Flocka Flame). His second and third albums, General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017), achieved similar commercial success; the latter included the single “Bad Things” (with Camila Cabello), which peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2019), saw exploration of rap rock.

Machine Gun Kelly released his fifth album, Tickets to My Downfall, in 2020; it marked a complete departure from hip hop and entry into pop punk. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the only rock album to do so that year, and contained the single “My Ex’s Best Friend”, which reached number 20 on the Hot 100. He had his first starring role in the romantic drama Beyond the Lights (2014), and since appeared in the techno-thriller Nerve (2016), the horror Bird Box (2018), the comedy Big Time Adolescence and portrayed Tommy Lee in the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).

Machine Gun Kelly is noted for his compositional blending of contemporary and alternative hip hop with rock. Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records.

Machine added: “I’m not scared anymore, there’s nothing holding me back from being my true self — and my true self can’t be silenced, can’t be restrained. It’s a force, it’s like a hurricane. Can’t stop that, it just goes until it feels like stopping, and I don’t feel like stopping anytime soon.”

Kelly’s sound has moved far more punk in recent years with his latest release being the furthest he’s strayed from rap yet. Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker will executive produce Born with Horns.

The Cleveland rapper ends by hinting that his new album will release, “the second you open your eyes and it’s 2022.”
