All of his picks are from New York, and they are all good.

Get ready for another “Top” list-based argument, thanks to Lloyd Banks. Banks has a lot of experience when it comes to writing clever rhymes that make his fans happy. The successful New York City rapper has been promoting his new album, The Course of the Inevitable 2, which came out just a few weeks ago. He recently did an interview for the Jalen & Jacoby podcast that covered a lot of topics but was mostly about sports.

Banks was asked by Jalen Rose and David Jacoby, who he thought had the best punchlines in the history of rap, to name his top five artists.

Banks didn’t hesitate to give his answers. Hip-hop history is full of great artists who could fill any of those Top 5 spots.

Several of his choices won’t surprise anyone who knows Hip Hop.

“Big L,” said Banks, referring to the late, well-known rapper who was known for his lyrical skills. “Then, Lord Finesse. I would say Jadakiss. I’d say that it’s Fabolous. I would have to sit in the last place.”

People didn’t miss the fact that all of Banks’ choices were New York City rappers, and some Hip Hop fans liked that the former G-Unit member didn’t choose artists who are always on these kinds of lists.
