Durk put the record right in his statements after AK claimed Durk spent $3 million on a necklace.
Iced out is a way of life for the majority of rappers. Whether it’s a diamond pendant, a carat-filled ring, a watch that’s too dazzling to tell the time, or earrings that glitter in the dark, artists aren’t afraid to spend a lot of money on jewelry—Lil Durk is one example.
The Chicago native has an impressive jewelry collection worth millions of dollars—three million, to be precise. Durk’s jeweler, Izzy, who is located in New York City and Miami, shared Durk’s most recent purchase on his Instagram story. In the backdrop, he played his song “Huuuh,” which coincidentally features Durk rapping, “Y’all cap, on Pluto, I just spent three million only with Izzy.”
Izzy displayed a silver diamond necklace and jotted down, “It was more than three [puffing emoji] for @lildurk. Do the math: one carat each.” The music and pop culture pundit DJ Akademiks reposted Izzy’s tweet with his almost five million followers, writing, “Durk spent over $3 million with his jeweler.”
Durk’s attention was drawn to the post as it started to get likes. He included AK’s remarks and commented, “The chain was between 250 and 260. I spent nearly $3 million on Izzy.” AK, actual name Livingston Allen, pinned Durk’s message for everyone to see, yet he didn’t change his caption after receiving explanation.
In recent news, the “What Happened to Virgil” musician was caught on film throwing a fan into the crowd for insulting his late cousin, King Von. Durk reprimanded him before pushing him back into the audience after halting his presentation to speak with the victim.
