Kodak Black was kind of good after his arrest in Florida on New Year’s Day, but he was arrested again this past weekend when police pulled him over for having illegal window tints and an expired license and tags. During the search, they also found 31 Oxycodone pills and tens of thousands of dollars.
The 25-year-old has since been bonded out of Broward County Jail, where he was mistaken for Flavor Flav. To celebrate his newfound freedom, Yak released the music video for “Usain Boo,” one of the songs on his Back For Everything album.
“Sorry for the wait,” the singer of “Love & War” wrote on Instagram. “I was adding more stuff to it, but I wanted to drop something for my fans since the pigs are trying to discourage you #BillLoveU.”
Young Chang directed the video, in which our star dances with a group of track and field athletes in front of a turquoise Bently. At one point in the clip, a police officer chases after a young man, but the young man trips the officer up and gets away.
After he was arrested, Bradford Cohen, who works for Kodak, talked about what happened. He said, “Never judge a case based on an arrest.”
“Even in this case, there are always other facts and circumstances that can be used as a defense. We’ll get him a bond today and move quickly to figure out what’s going on.”
The Florida artist put his own mugshot on social media and wrote, “SMH! Not Again.”
