In her words, “It’s not easy to be alive, therefore I appreciate you all allowing me to continue to exist in this strange world.
This is what King Princess has always been about. Even if it’s strange, disorganized, and not the greatest, we’re creating a safe space for ourselves. Nobody else feels the same way as you do. I’m certain I’ve had this feeling previously, and I still do. This album is for those seeking a secure environment in which to be open and honest. I’m with you here right now because I adore you.”
In October 2019, King Princess released her first album, Cheap Queen. Together with Mike Malchicoff, she co-wrote the songs and produced the CD in Los Angeles. She has a contract with Zelig Records, a division of Columbia Records, which is Mark Ronson’s record company.
