Kiddo Marv, an American rapper, has released his new track “No Feelings,” which features Yung Miami of the American hip hop group City Girls.
More About Kiddo Marv:
The rising talent, who was born and raised in North Miami and has been working his way up the music ladder since his first mixtape, Dying 2 Live, in 2015, is no stranger to following his aspirations.
Marv, whose parents were Haitian immigrants, grew up in Miami and Port-au-Prince, where the bulk of his extended family now lives. Around this time, a cousin introduced him to the BET program 106 and Park, as well as hip-hop music.
He went by a number of cliche aliases at first, including Terminator and Lil Thug, before deciding on Kiddo Marv as his actual stage moniker. Kingz in Denial Don’t Overcome, his two-part first album, was released in 2018-2019, and the title also functioned as an acronym for that project.
Marv started hustling the streets of North Miami as he got older and realized he didn’t have access to high-quality recording equipment. Kiddo Marv, a contrite 13-year-old, resorted to basketball as a way of success.
In high school, Kiddo Marv’s life changed abruptly when he took up a microphone again and found the anonymity of MySpace as a method of discreetly sharing his music.
Through his effort, the persistent artist has built an excellent network of local and national rap stars. It all began in 2015, when he approached Major Nine (AKA Miami native and Cleveland Browns defensive end Chad Thomas) for a verse for his mixtape. Following that, a slew more partnerships ensued.
Through social media sites, he created contacts that led to collaborations with artists such as Tokyo Jets, Denzel Curry, and City Girls in his formative years. (“Enough/Better” and “Jobs” are two songs from City Girl’s most recent album, City On Lock, which he also produced.)
Kiddo Marv’s perseverance has brought him in the same room with artists and mentors like Trick Daddy, Sam Sneak, and Wyclef Jean, who was one of his initial inspirations.
