American rapper and singer, Joey Badass, whose real name is Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, unreleased new song “Written In The Stars” off his long anticipated album project “2000” leaked online.
1999 was the first hip-hop album release. Summer Knights was released in July 2013, while Rejex was released in September 2012.
Joey Badass’s debut studio album, B4.Da.$$, was released in January 2015. He made his television debut in 2016 on the USA Network drama Mr. Robot. His second album, All-Amerikkkan Badass, was released in April 2017.
Joey Badass revealed on Twitter on December 28, 2017, that he and T-Pain were in the early version of Post Malone’s song “Rockstar.” Badass also said that the song was not composed by him.
XXXTentacion, a rapper from Florida, said on Instagram that he was working on a project with Joey Badass. This was verified by Badass on January 20, 2018. They released a remix of the song “King’s Dead” on SoundCloud on March 9, 2018. On March 16, they released “Infinity (888),” a single off XXXTentacion’s second studio album. But, since XXXTentacion was slain, their collaboration is very probably doomed.
Joey re-released 1999 on all streaming platforms and vinyl on June 12, 2018, to commemorate the album’s sixth anniversary. In an interview with Peter Rosenberg, he then announced to the public for the first time that he was a father, stating that Indigo Rain, who was only 2 months old at the time, was his first kid.
He also appeared on XXXTentacion’s most recent album, Bad Vibes Forever, which was released in December 2019.
Joey Badass will release The Light Pack, a three-track EP, in July 2020. In November, he appeared on Phony Ppl’s “On My Shit.”
