It has officially been revealed that Big Sean and Jhene Aiko are expecting their first child.
On Saturday, TMZ snapped photographs of the longtime couple out in Beverly Hills, with Aiko showing off her baby bulge.
It’s unknown how far along Aiko is in her pregnancy since the pair has yet to confirm the news. While Jhené already has a 13-year-old daughter named Namiko Love Browner, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend O’Ryan, this will be Sean’s first kid.
During an episode of Vice Autobiographies in 2016, Aiko discussed becoming a mother.
“I became pregnant with my daughter in 2008.” “She made me feel brave,” Jhené said. “I never had any doubts that anything good would come of it.” If anything, it was motivating, and it gave me that additional push.”
This is not the first pregnancy for the pair, who have been dating since 2016. Big Sean said on his 2020 album Detroit 2 that Aiko has already miscarried.
“Should be a millionaire based on the time off I’m not taking/Probably why the stuff with me got wild and we lost a kid,” he rapped on Nipsey Hussle’s “Deep Reverence.” The rapper and singer have been dating for many years and have openly discussed marriage on Instagram and other platforms. They’ve also expressed a desire to create a family.
Sean will have his first kid, while Jhene will have her second. When she was 20, she had a daughter called Namiko Love with singer O’Ryan (Omarion’s brother).
Aside from their on-again, off-again relationship, Sean and Jhené have been longtime collaborators, with the R&B singer appearing on a number of songs in the Detroit rapper’s catalog, including 2012’s Detroit (“I’m Gonna Be”), 2013’s Hall of Fame (“Beware”), 2015’s Dark Sky Paradise (“I Know”), 2017’s I Decided (“Same Time Pt. 1”), and 2020’s Detroit 2 (“B They also collaborated on a project called Twenty88 in 2016.
