Russell wants his followers to go all out.
People believe that JaMarcus Russell was one of the worst NFL draft choices ever. The Oakland Raiders selected Russell. There was a lot of talk about him when he graduated from LSU. In the end, he contributed little for the club, and the short years he spent with Oakland were fraught with troubles.
Russell considered making a return once, but no club in the league was interested. Russell discussed this on the podcast The Pivot, which he co-hosted with Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder. Russell said that he would rather to be known as the largest bust in history since it is a more appropriate moniker.
“I’ll admit that my sh*t didn’t come out the way I wanted it to or the way they thought it would,” Russell stated. ” However, if you’re going to label me a waste of time, make it the “Biggest” waste of time. I’m not interested in such nonsense.”
Russell doesn’t seem to be concerned by this, which is encouraging, but we’re sure the Raiders organization and fans aren’t. Russell was hired with high aspirations, but he left the squad in shambles.
