Twitter users report that Quavo “threw his mike in the audience” when his microphone was supposedly cut while on stage with Gucci.
It’s been a tumultuous few days at Rolling Loud Miami, with Kid Cudi going off stage after being mistreated by his crowd, Kanye West making a surprise cameo during Lil Durk’s performance after skipping out of his own, and now, rumour has it, Gucci Mane’s stage time has been jeopardized.
Of course, the three had to play their iconic 2017 collaboration, “I Get The Bag,” which they meant to follow with the same year’s “Slippery” single, but their mics were allegedly cut only seconds in, as soon as the song’s rhythm fell.
“Yooo… They definitely cut Gucci and Migos set short,” one Twitter user said yesterday afternoon (July 23). “Quavo hurled his mic into the crowd.”
Others have remarked, “”You guys @rollingloud just cut the Migos short exactly when it got fire, first Carti, now them,” and “How the f*ck does Gucci bring out the Migos and you cut them off?” You’re the worst festival ever, the f*ck.”
Gucci’s wife Keyshia Ka’oir stopped by the comment section after @theshaderoom published part of the rumors to clear up any confusion. “That is not what occurred,” she wrote. “Our time limit had expired.”
Rolling Loud has received a lot of flak this year, with some calling their explanation about the incident with Kid Cudi “insincere” since they didn’t even identify him in the article.
In happier news, Saweetie’s performance at the festival went well, as she performed an unheard song from her forthcoming debut album, Pretty Bitch Music.
