This week, Fivio Foreign releases his first album B.I.B.L.E., for which he’s been creating a lot of buzz with a terrific feature run. He just collaborated with City Girls on their new track ‘Top Notch,’ and he also appears on Nicki Minaj’s ‘We Go Up.’
Fivi has turned to social media a few days before the project’s release date of Friday to reveal the official track list. You may recall that he mentioned all of the guests in a video not long ago, but now we know who will be appearing on what.
Ever since last fall, New York drill pioneer Fivio Foreign has been working on his debut album, reportedly named The Bible. Momentum for this album came after his stellar feature on Kanye West’s “Off The Grid,” also with Playboi Carti, where Fivio unleashed the best verse of his young career.
Fivio Foreign fans will be treated to the Brooklyn drill rapper’s first full-length album. B.I.B.L.E (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth), his debut studio album, will be released on April 8. Fivio revealed the official cover art a few days ago and has now released the features.
He and Ye have become close friends, and Yeezy is helping to executively produce The Bible for Fivio. Months in the making, fans have been waiting patiently for the project. Ye and Fivio’s February collaborative cut “City of Gods” with Alicia Keys is set to be a dual purpose promotional single, landing on Kanye’s Donda 2 as well as The Bible.
B.I.B.L.E is Fivio Foreign’s forthcoming debut album. The title is an acronym for “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.”
The name of the album was probably inspired by Killah Priest’s cut, “B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth),” from GZA’s sophomore album, Liquid Swords.
After the release of Kanye West’s 2021 album Donda, where Fivio was notably featured on the song “Off The Grid,” the Brooklyn-based artist did multiple interviews stating that Kanye West would become the executive producer of the album.
ASAP Rocky, Alicia Keys, Chloe Bailey, Kanye West, Ne-Yo, Coi Leray, Blueface, DJ Khaled, Kaycyy, Lil TJay, Lil Yachty, Polo G, Quavo, Queen Naija, Vory, and Yung Bleu are among the stars who appear in the video.
The project’s original release date (March 25, 2022) was announced the same day as the lead single from the album, “City of Gods,” featuring West himself and Alicia Keys, was released. However, on March 12th, Fivio confirmed through an Instagram Story that the album would be pushed back two weeks, to the April 8th release date.
Fivio made his debut with the 2020 EP 800 B.C, which included the catchy single “Big Drip” and its Lil Baby and Quavo-assisted remix. Since then, he’s released “Move Like A Boss” with Young M.A, “Bop It” with Polo G, and “City of God.” The latter was created in collaboration with Alicia Keys and Kanye West. Fivi has also collaborated with Drake, French Montana, Lil Tjay, Nas, 42 Dugg, and Nicki Minaj on songs.
