American rapper Maxie Lee Ryles III known by his stage name Fivio Foreign is prepping the release of his new album B.I.B.L.E. which is scheduled to arrive this Spring and will be executive produced by Kanye West.
This track was first previewed by Fivio Foreign in a snippet on Tik Tok on March 3, 2022. Fivio teased the song again in an Instagram post while shooting the music video on March 9, 2022.
He recently dropped his single ‘City of Gods‘ with Kanye and Alicia Keys which is steadily moving up the charts. But it’s now turn to switch it up as the New York rapper returns with another Drill single called ‘Magic City’. This time, he’s joined by good friend Quavo and as the title suggests, it’s more commercial sounding than the first one.
Looking at the Instagram trailer, it looks like a music video for the track is on the way as well but for now, listen to/preview the tune below (currently only out in select international markets).
About B.I.B.L.E
B.I.B.L.E is Fivio Foreign’s forthcoming debut album. The title is an acronym for “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.”
The name of the album was probably inspired by Killah Priest’s cut, “B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth),” from GZA’s sophomore album, Liquid Swords.
After the release of Kanye West’s 2021 album Donda, where Fivio was notably featured on the song “Off The Grid,” the Brooklyn-based artist did multiple interviews stating that Kanye West would become the executive producer of the album.
The project’s original release date (March 25, 2022) was announced the same day as the lead single from the album, “City of Gods,” featuring West himself and Alicia Keys, was released. However, on March 12th, Fivio confirmed through an Instagram Story that the album would be pushed back two weeks, to the April 8th release date.
