Last month, Fireboy made history by performing “Playboy” live at the 2022 BET Awards. He was the first afrobeats artist to achieve so. In February, the artist had over 300 million streams on Audiomack. In appreciation of this achievement, he or she was presented with a plaque.
His debut album, Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps, has been played 153 million times on Audiomack, while his second album, Apollo, has been played 154 million times. His separate songs garnered the remaining streams.
The Nigerian singer Fireboy and Ed Sheeran’s song “Peru (Remix)” hit the top 40 on mainstream US radio on February 21, 2022. This happened after the song topped the Billboard Hot 100 and was remixed by Blxst and 21 Savage.
This weekend, Fireboy made his Billboard Hot 100 debut. The song reached number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. The whole globe is interested in seeing how far it can go. Ed Sheeran created a phrase for Peru before requesting permission to remix it from Fireboy. Today’s remix comprises 21 Savage and Blxst tracks.
