A new travel craze is about to take off. We’ve recently launched five new small-group active trips for NJHH guests in the United States and Canada, which are now available to book.
The Mercedes-Benz® sprinter van will be used for these five Small Group Active Tours, rather than our usual coach. We can accommodate up to 17 guests on each of these tours. What is the goal? A smaller group size and a more agile vehicle will allow you to get to those off-the-beaten-path destinations, which will make for an unforgettable experience for those seeking something different. Our Small Group Active Tours are described in detail in this guide, which contains all of the information you’ll need.
A NJHH tour is preferable to a sprinter van tour, but which is better?
The NJHH tour is unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced before. For you, traveling to a new country or continent with a warm and friendly Travel Director as well as an experienced driver will be a fantastic experience. The average number of people on a tour is between 30 and 50 people.
With our Small Group Active Tours, we’re able to provide guests with a new way to travel while still providing them with the NJHH experience they expect. The Mercedes-Benz® sprinter van has a maximum carrying capacity of 17 passengers. As a result of the small group size, NJHH’s signature and handcrafted experiences can be enjoyed in more intimate hotels and restaurants throughout the world.
Where can I find out more about a Mercedes-Benz® sprinter van or request more information about one?
Consider a sleek, well-appointed minibus that is equipped with the most up-to-date technology. Mercedes-Benz is the company that manufactures Sprinter vans. Looking for a vehicle that will allow you to travel across the country in comfort? Look no further than one of these options.
The fact that the vans are so much smaller than a coach means that we are able to travel to places that would be impossible to reach with a larger vehicle, which opens up a whole new world of possibilities for NJHH guests.
What destinations can we visit now that Small Group Active Tours have been introduced?
You will visit places that a regular NJHH tour would not be able to reach on our five new Small Group tours, which are only available to residents of the United States and Canada. Four of the tours will take you to some of the most beautiful National Parks in the United States, so you’ll need to be in good shape to get the most out of these small-group excursions.
Yellowstone, The Tetons, and Glacier National Parks can all be visited in a single trip if you want to see the most spectacular natural wonders of the Rocky Mountains. Another tour will take you to the Californian national parks of Yosemite and Lassen Volcanic National Parks.
Book a Grand Canyon and the Old West tour if you want to see the best of Arizona’s history, ancient culture, and breathtaking landscapes in one trip. In the fourth active tour, the stark beauty of California’s desert national parks is the focal point, while the fifth is a food and wine cruise along the state’s coast, both of which are optional.
The California Coast Food and Wine Trail is a great source of inspiration.
Tell us about your trip to Montana with a small group of friends. Our Small Group Active Tour of Yellowstone, The Tetons, and Glacier National Parks will take you up close and personal with nature over the course of seven days. A visit to the Grand Teton and Glacier national parks, as well as Yellowstone National Park, where you can hike past soaring geysers such as Old Faithful, is the best way to see Big Sky Country in its entirety.
There are also a couple of hikes ranging from three to five miles in length on this trip, so make sure to bring your hiking boots.
If you’re going on a NJHH excursion, you must include the Be My Guest lunch and the MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experience. Following your visit to an indigenous arts and crafts workshop, you’ll be treated to lunch from a food truck with an indigenous theme. While visiting, you can learn about the college’s commitment to providing high-quality educational opportunities and support to Native American students.
Yellowstone, The Tetons, and Glacier National Parks are all excellent places to get some serious inspiration.
Tell us more about the Arizona discovery tour; we’re interested in learning more. As we travel through Arizona, we will have the opportunity to see some of the most spectacular views of the Grand Canyon, as well as centuries of Native American history. On this eight-day journey through the Wild West, you will have the opportunity to see the best of southern and northern Arizona.
This small-group active tour includes MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experiences such as an encounter with the art and traditions of 11 local tribes associated with the Grand Canyon region, as well as an encounter with the Grand Canyon itself.
What is it about your upcoming trip to California for food and wine that you are most looking forward to?
The Pacific Coast of California is the setting for this week-long foodie Small Group Active Tour, where you’ll drink and dine your way through the region. During your tour, you’ll see an avocado grove, learn how to shuck oysters, interact with alpine goats, stroll through vineyards, and taste fresh local olive oil from the source.
We’re not just consuming food and liquids (but there will be plenty of that). A highlight of this tour is the opportunity to learn about California’s natural splendor, which includes the breathtaking beauty of Ben Sur.
Use the Wine and Food Trail along the California Coast as a model. Share your experience traveling through California in a sprinter van with us.
The northern part of California has been calling my name for a long time. Our new sprinter van tour takes you through Lassen Volcanic National Park, Gold Country, Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite National Park.
From Sacramento, California’s capital city, this seven-day small group adventure takes you out on the open road to explore the Golden State. Because it’s an active vacation, you can expect to go on a few short and easy hikes throughout the day.
The opportunity to meet a local climber and naturalist who will tell you about the fascinating history of rock climbing in Yosemite will appeal to naturalists, while Be My Guest guests will enjoy lunch at Heringer Estates, a family-owned organic vineyard in the Sacramento delta that has been farming for more than a century will appeal to foodies. Through a unique partnership, the family estate also contributes to the provision of a habitat for rehabilitated owls on the property.
What is it about a trip to the desert that is so appealing?
Starting in Las Vegas and concluding in Palm Springs, this small-group California tour explores the stark beauty of the desert landscape. Some of California’s most breathtaking scenery can be found between Death Valley and Joshua Tree National Parks, which are located about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
It is the Dive Into Culture experience on this tour that will allow you to get up close and personal with Southern California Modernism, the residential mid-century architecture style that was popularized by celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Marilyn Monroe, and learn about its history. Apart from that, you’ll be able to see 3,218 windmills up close and personal in one of the most windy regions of the United States.
An exciting new series of active small-group tours is about to be launched. We would greatly appreciate hearing from you…
