The Deluxe Edition of “Ghetto Gods” has been announced by EarthGang.
EarthGang has announced the release of a deluxe edition of “Ghetto Gods,” which will contain collaborations with Wiz Khalifa, Smino, and others.
EarthGang is releasing a deluxe edition of their latest album, Ghetto Gods, featuring Wiz Khalifa, Smino, and others. The new tunes, according to the two, will be released later this week.
According to EarthGang’s post, the deluxe edition will include both new tracks and older versions of songs currently on the project.
“We included the original versions of two songs since our composition process is continually evolving,” the band noted in the explanation of a tracklist of what’s new on the album. “We want you to be a part of it.”
Songs with “original” versions include “American Horror Story” and “Black Pearls.” “Smoke Sum” will also be updated.
Ghetto Gods, which was released in February, features Future, JID, J. Cole, Musiq Soulchild, Baby Tate, CeeLo Green, Nick Cannon, and Ari Lennox. The album is the duo’s second studio release. Mirrorland, their debut release, was released in 2013.
“Mirrorland seemed more like a cartoon; it was an odd journey.” The film The Wizard of Oz served as inspiration. When asked how their music has altered on the record, WowGr8 recently told NME that Ghetto Gods sounds more like an action movie. “This one is more realistic; it smacks you in the face.”
Ghetto Gods Deluxe will be released on Friday, July 1.
