Scottish DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter, Adam Richard Wiles, known professionally as Calvin Harris, unreleased new song “Obsessed” feat. Charlie Puth & Shenseea off his forthcoming album project “Funk Wav Bounces (Vol. 2)” leaked online.
Calvin Harris hinted at a return by announcing the release of his new album shortly. The news comes five years after Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1 was released. That album included Pharrell, Big Sean, and Katy Perry on the smash songs “Slide,” “Heatstroke,” “Rollin’,” and “Feels.”
Harris announced the release of Funk Wav Bounces Vol.2 on Twitter, where he shared a photo with a mysterious statement suggesting that the album will be available in the summer of 2022. The Scottish DJ’s sixth studio album is his first in five years. Harris is scheduled to play at a variety of summer festivals, but no other information has been provided. Fans took note when Harris’s Love Regenerator avatar released “Lonely” earlier this year.
In July, the producer will also appear at the Sziget Festival, Creamfields South, and Beslonic. Harris will live in Ushuaia, Ibiza, from June to September. Megan Thee Stallion and Harris will perform on September 3 and 4 during a two-day event in Munich.
