American R&B singer and songwriter from Columbia, Maryland, Christopher Brent Wood, better known by his stage name Brent Faiyaz, unreleased song “Addiction” featuring Tre’ Armani from forthcoming album titled “WASTELAND” reportedly leaked online.
Following the release of his highly praised album Fuck the World in 2020, Faiyaz is now unveiling the Wasteland in which he has been living for the last five years.
WASTELAND is Brent Faiyaz’s second studio album, after his extended play, Fuck The World, released in February 2020.
Brent originally revealed the album on June 13, 2022, when he published the album trailer on the album’s official Instagram page.
Faiyaz announced his third full-length album with a captivating black-and-white teaser video on June 13, and later that week (June 17), he unveiled the cover art and tracklist for the LP, which includes Drake, Tyler, The Creator, Joony, The Neptunes, Steve Lacy, and others.
Brent Faiyaz’s first track, “Natural Release,” was released on SoundCloud. Faiyaz released his EP A.M. Paradox on September 19, 2016, which drew the attention of GoldLink. On December 16, 2016, Goldlink collaborated with Faiyaz and Shy Glizzy (now Young Jefe) to release the massive hit “Crew.”
Brent released his first album Sonder Son on October 13th, 2017.
