American rapper, Ackquille Jean Pollard, known professionally as Bobby Shmurda unreleased new song “Bodmon” off his first EP since prison released, “Bodboy” leaked online.
Bobby Shmurda has been creating music since he was released from jail in February 2021.
The New York rapper, actual name Ackquille Pollard, was arrested in 2014 and sentenced to six years in jail on allegations of possessing firearms and conspiring against the government.
Bobby Shmurda was able to complete his deal with Epic Records as soon as he was released from jail. He returned to the studio and resumed where he had left off. He’s since released songs such as “No Time to Sleep,” “Shmoney” featuring Quavo, “They Don’t Know,” and “Gettin’ Em Back.”
In April, the Brooklyn rapper also said that he was working on his long-awaited debut album, which has yet to be released.
The Brooklyn native has gone independent when his contract with Epic Records expired. This demonstrates his desire to direct his own career and become completely self-sufficient. He selected this path in his career because he believed the big record companies were uninterested in him.
