American rapper, Tauheed K. Epps, known professionally as 2 Chainz, unreleased song “Get It Back” featuring Swae Lee off his upcoming album project “Dope Don’t Sell Itself” with 42 Dugg, BeatKing, Jacquees, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Major Myjah, Moneybagg Yo, Roddy Ricch, Sleepy Rose, Stove God Cooks, Swae Lee, Symba & YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
Dope Don’t Sell Itself is set to release on February 4th, 2022. It will serve as the veteran rapper’s 7th studio album, and follows his 2020 body of work So Help Me God. That album was home to guest verses from Lil Wayne, NBA Youngboy, Kanye West, Rick Ross, and more.
The album entered the top 20 on the Billboard 200, and fans enjoyed Chainz’ steady presence and the wit signature to his discography. Along with the announcement came a brand new single ‘Pop Music‘ featuring Moneybagg Yo along with Houston producer, Beatking.
Today, we have the official tracklist for the album containing 12 tracks. As expected, there are plenty of features on it — in fact, there are only 3 solo tracks on the project.
2 Chainz dropped his last album So Help Me God! in November 2020 with features from Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Kevin Gates, Chief Keef, Ty Dolla $ign, Brent Faiyaz, NBA YoungBoy, Mulatto and more.
The project debuted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 chart with roughly 27,000 total album-equivalent units. He closed out 2020 with the release of his album So Help Me God which was a big one for him because at the time, it was set to be his last album before he left Def Jam and went indie.
However, when the album dropped, he revealed that he’d gotten an enticing offer from the label which was making him reconsider.
Since the release of that album, we’ve heard from the Atlanta rapper only on features like the one he did for Gucci Mane’s Ice Daddy album and ‘Baddest‘ with Yung Bleu. Tonight though, the rapper has revealed some massive news about his upcoming solo effort.
2 Chainz was born and raised in College Park, Georgia, he initially gained recognition for being one-half of the Southern hip hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside his longtime friend and fellow rapper Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers.
